Welcome

This past Monday and Tuesday March 3rd and 4th, I had the opportunity to do a presentation about my fashion design experience and my business to two different classes at Berkley College in NYC. I was thrilled at the idea of finally being able to give back! All through my life, I've had mentors and surrounded myself with people who were willing to help in teaching me in some way. This has helped me in choosing my career. For me to finally be in a position as someone who can help guide, is a true joy. I had wanted to set up a blog site for some time now. This opportunity motivated me, as I want to keep the communication going with the students and anyone else who reads the ebook "6 Quick Steps to Get the Job, Move to NYC an Live Your Dreams, from a fashion designer's perspective" (see side menu bar to download free ebook). That's the joy about learning. We both are learning and growing, the one who shares and the one who benefits from the person who shares.

This is a very new blog. I'll add new information on a weekly basis. I am looking forward to growing this community and having a site where anyone who is interested can participate in discussions and share ideas. Along with the educational portion, this blog will also introduce to you new accessories from our online boutique New York Accents. After all, it is a fashion site!
